About The Role We're looking for a Product Development Technologist to join our North Ryde team on a 13-month fixed term contract. This is a hands-on role in our test bakery, focused on developing and testing bakery solutions for our customers. You'll work closely with commercial teams and other stakeholders to deliver technical projects that improve product performance and meet customer needs. What You'll Do Conduct controlled baking trials in the test bakery, including evaluation and accurate reporting of results. Identify and assess new raw materials, supporting ingredient performance improvements and process optimisation. Communicate results clearly and confidently to cross-functional stakeholders, including commercial and marketing teams. About You The suitable candidate will possess: Detailed knowledge of bread, baking and associated industry manufacturing processes A strong technical mindset and experience with structured testing (NPD stage gate processes), controls and accurate reporting. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work collaboratively and influence when needed. Proficiency using Microsoft suite products including Excel and PowerPoint.
